What is live looping?

Live looping is a performance technique where musicians record musical phrases or sounds in real-time and then play them back in a continuous loop, allowing them to build layered compositions on the fly.

Live looping gives you the opportunity to duplicate yourself four times as if you are a one person band. It is fun, playful, & deeply transcendent. It is like having your own personal spaceship of sound that you can travel to many inner landscapes with. It can be as easy or as complex as you want it to be. Having a basic understanding of rhythm & harmonies is a great start to fly. This course was created for you to not only understand the technical basics, but connect to your authentic channel & take your musical artistry to the next level.

About your Mentor

Dominique Zuniga is a world renowned vocal artist & multi-instrumentalist. Born in California to Mexican and Saudi Arabian parents, Dominique’s early life was marked by hardship. Music became not merely just an outlet - but a lifeline. At 19 she received the opportunity to train in the opera as a mezzo soprano. An experience which marked the beginning of a worldwide quest to deepen her studies in world music. Having studied Amazonian medicine songs, African rhythms, Middle Eastern ornamentation, and classical Indian raga, Dominique brings an ancestral integrity to her work that embodies lived experience. Global recognition began with her oriental collaboration with Café De Anatolia, a track that defied genre and garnered over 8.1 million views on YouTube. Her signature work lives in her 2024 album Ikalgi, an expansive sonic offering that draws inspiration from Hans Zimmer’s Gladiator and folds in shamanic, operatic, and ambient textures. Its emotional gravity is unmistakable—part invocation, part elegy, it is a testament to music as ceremony.  However, performance is not her only passion. Inspiring others to discover their voice & authentic leadership is her purpose. Her brand—Zemsway—is a global platform for vocal liberation, spiritual development, and artistic empowerment. Through immersive retreats, mentorship programs, online trainings, and sold-out concerts, she has guided more than 5,000 students toward reclaiming their voice—not just as singers, but as leaders and creators.
